July 7 - Lynchburg, Virginia to Knoxville, Tennessee

Today's ride was longer than usual and by necessity included over 200 miles of freeway. Apparently we didn't get as far as we should have yesterday and had to make that up today in order to get to daughter #3's home in Knoxville, Tennessee. The highlight of our morning was a visit to the Elks National Home which is a retirement community for Elks. Upon telling Golda this she pictured Elks, animal version, pushing walkers down the hallway. That was the only sightseeing stop today. Golda and Jeremy took us to the Sunsphere in downtown Knoxville followed by a driving tour of the University of Tennessee. Today's pictures:

The Elks National Home in Bedford, Virginia.
The library in the Elks Home!!!!
These are real horses, not those metal cut-outs.
Kept looking for the giant that plays this guitar!

An amphitheater in downtown Knoxville.
A view from the Sunsphere.
An artsy picture of our reflection inside the Sunsphere.
This picture was too good not to post!
